North of Venice

Our Story

Three friends.
One region.

We are not a tour company. We are three people from the Veneto who happen to be very particular about how guests experience our home.

The Vision

For decades, "Italy" has meant the same handful of postcards: a gondola, a colosseum, a hilltop in Tuscany. We love those places. We just happen to live in a region that quietly outclasses most of them, and almost no one from abroad ever sees it. Beyond Venice.

North of Venice exists to change that. Quietly, one small group at a time.

The Mission

To create meaningful connections between travellers and the communities who quietly make Northern Italy what it is: the cheesemaker in the malga, the third-generation Prosecco family, the boatman who knows every reed in the lagoon.

Our role is to introduce you. The friendships are yours to keep.

The Founders

The three of us.

Our Philosophy

Three words we keep coming back to.

Authenticity

We don't curate the Veneto. We open the door and let it speak for itself.

Slow Travel

Fewer kilometres, longer meals, more conversation. The good things refuse to be rushed.

Human Connection

We measure success in the WhatsApp messages our guests still trade with their hosts a year later.

The first conversation is always over a coffee — virtual or otherwise.
